Your concierge, from booking to checkout

Every stay at Casa Frondosa comes with full-time concierge service, and it starts before you book, not after.

Maribel and Eddie are the Casa Frondosa Concierge Team, and your primary point of contact before and throughout your stay. They manage the house on the ground, live on this coast, and are happy to help with questions, local recommendations, activities and any other arrangements that make the stay easier.

Eddie answers inquiries, usually within about two hours between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. US Central Time. Outside those hours your message waits safely at the top of the pile for the next morning.

What your concierge takes care of

  • One contact, the whole way through

From your first question to checkout day, you deal with one person who knows your booking, your group and your plans. Nothing gets lost between departments because there are no departments.

  • Tours and activities, arranged

Whale boats out of Uvita, the park at Manuel Antonio, rafting, sportfishing, waterfall days. Tell your concierge what your group enjoys and the right operators get lined up for the right days.

  • Where to eat, what to cook

Honest restaurant recommendations up and down the coast, where to do the big grocery run on the way in, and which sodas and beach spots are worth planning a day around.

  • The local read

Which beach is best on the day, what the weather is actually going to do, when to leave for the park, where the turtles are nesting. Answers that come from living here, not from a search engine.

  • Everything about the house

Arrival directions, the gate, the generator, the wifi, the pool. If anything at the house needs attention during your stay, one message and it is handled.

  • Help before you ever book

Not sure the house fits your group, your dates or your plans? Ask. You will get a straight answer either way, because the goal is a great stay, not just a booking.

The house is looked after every day

Full-time caretakers live in a separate house on the property and tend the gardens, the pool and the housekeeping through the week. It is why the house looks the way it does in the photographs, and why something small never has to wait until checkout to get fixed.

Between the concierge and the caretakers, the house comes with more day-to-day attention than most hotels, and it still feels like yours for the week. The questions page covers the practical details, and the house page shows what they take care of.
